#parkerfarmstay - We have 2 units: 1 sleeps 5 & this unit sleeps 7 using sofa bed. This has a laundry and is next to the playground, the other unit is near the chickens. Both units allow families & friends to reconnect with loved ones in a animal family-friendly place. Both have access to the playground, trampoline & animals: sheep, goats, alpaca, ducks, chicken, dogs & guinea pig. 10 mins to The Big Goose, Moonlit Sanctuary, Dinosaur World, Funky Farm, 15 to Mornington, Hastings & Vineyards The space #Parkerfarmstay is a 10.5 acre hobby farm. We are aiming to be self sustainable and environmentally friendly. This is our second unit on our property ideal for friends, families and wedding parties to holiday together. The second unit is very similar to the first unit (parkerfarm-animals-wineries-mornington-peninsula-holidays). having 2 bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with a double and single bunk bed. This unit also has a laundry unlike the original unit. This unit also has a larger kitchen/dining area and looks out to the paddocks in rear of the property. The other unit looks out to paddocks at the front of the property. The unit has one main large living area the lounge, kitchen and dining area. There are 2 bedrooms the main bedroom has a Queen size bed, wardrobes and has space for a portacot if you bring one for an infant or you can hire from us. The second bedroom has a double and single bunk bed providing accommodation for a further 3 people or children, plus a portacot can fit in there. The unit can accommodate 5 guests. There is a full kitchen with electric stove, oven and microwave. All bed linen is provided including towels and blankets. A small provisions box will be provided of some basic necessities so you can make a cup of tea or coffee upon arrival particularly after a long journey. Bread, butter and milk. There are other condiments available. The barn has some books, toys and games for children and adults alike. There is also a dvd player, tv and cd player. We can also offer babysitting for a fee $20 per hour if available. Please request in advance if possible. We unfortunately cannot accommodate pets due to the livestock, chickens, ducks and native animals here on Parker Farm. All guests have the ability to participate in hand feeding of the animals if they so wish for a surcharge of $5 for animal feed due to increased stock feed charges. You can hand feed the sheep, chickens, ducks and the goats. We also have 3 friendly dogs Boss a 14 yr old terrier cross who loves a cuddle and will come into the unit if allowed. Ellie a 2 yr old Daschund and Murphy a 4 month old Black Labrador puppy. Despite being a hobby farm and it may appear rural we are 10 mins away from the local shopping centre, doctors and restaurants. Food deliveries do deliver to our home. We are 10 mins away from the Peninsula Link so its a fairly quick if you are living in the suburbs to come to the Mornington Peninsula. Our property is large enough for budding fisherman to bring their boats just let us know and we can locate a place for it to be stored so it will be a short journey to the local fishing areas. We live in the Mornington Peninsula just minutes away from beaches, wineries and fabulous walks. There is Moonlit Sanctuary a native park just 10 minutes away where you can see and feed kangaroos, koalas and other Australian native animals. We are also very close to the Big Goose Farm and Dinosaur World. The Woodlands Estate, The Peacock Estate, Sages Cottage a few of the many wedding venue destinations are all approx 10 min drive from Parker Farm. Tyabb airfield is approx 3km away for those of you having flying lessons. HMAS Cerberus is 15km away a drive of approx 15 mins. We are surrounded by 200 wineries on the Peninsula and some are a very short drive away (5 mins). For those of you wishing to venture further afield, the Dandenongs are 52km away a drive of approx 50 mins to Puffing Billy, Phillip Island is 100km away a drive of approx 1hr 15 mins and the city is 65km a drive of approx 53mins. The Peninsula also has fabulous vineyards over 200!, the hot springs, Enchanted Maze, Arthurs Seat, The Eagle, golf courses and the area is great for walking. Come for a restful stay, a catch up with family and friends in your own space or a fun filled activity holiday all year long there is always something happening at #Parkerfarmstay. Check out latest happenings on #parkerfarmstay. You will require a car. Self check in is available however there is usually someone always around to assist if needed. There is NBN wifi at Parker Farm however it can be intermittent due to the rural location. Guest access You will have access to the private unit which is self contained. Access to other areas of Parker Farm are strictly by arrangement and with a member of Parker Family due to farming environment. Should you wish to invite a few guests or family please notify us, just so we know who is currently visiting the property at any one time for safety reasons. Childrens playground and cubby including swings and a slide Large trampoline for children only Guest Access: Key code required to access the property provided on the morning of your check in date. Gate remote to be used during your stay. Loss of remote will result in $75 replacement fee. Other things to note Hand feeding is available for a surcharge ducks, chickens, sheep and goats $5 per bag due to increased stock feed charges. Basic provisions will be provided upon arrival to enable you to make a cup of tea or coffee but you will need to obtain further supplies if your stay is more than overnight. You may also receive additional items such as fresh Parker Farm duck or chicken eggs but that cannot be guaranteed. Babysitting is available at an additional cost. Portacot, baby bath and highchair available for hire $10 per stay for all three items included . Animal feed is available at an additional cost $5. As we are on a farm you may hear Ernie our friendly rooster. Also as you are on a farm stay you may hear farming equipment on our farm or neighbouring farms.
