Spacious, eclectic bedroom in Edwardian house

Welcome to the cat house! :) Stay in a comfortable upstairs room with shared bath hosted by a friendly couple and many cats close to downtown Salisbury. The house itself was built in 1900 by a whiskey distiller-turned-bootlegger. Your hosts, Nicole and Steve, are SLOWLY restoring the property and building a sanctuary for the appx. 15 stray cats that frequent the porch & 3 inside. We're excited to host laid-back, inclusive folks who don't mind kitty cuddles. ;) The space Our place is an Edwardian with many beautiful original features, like flooring and hardware, still intact. It's currently a work in progress we're tackling as a labor of love so expect wood that needs to be refinished, furniture in need of reupholstering, etc. Think comfortable, but not luxurious. Our style is eclectic and whimsical, with unstuffy takes on traditional shapes and items. Guest access Guests have access to a shared table, full refrigerator & freezer, microwave, Keurig, and air fryer upstairs. Guests are also welcome to use the full kitchen, dining, and laundry rooms downstairs as needed-- please let us know in advance when you'd like to do laundry and we'll make sure to have it ready for you. :) During your stay We love meeting and chatting with new people! We also respect that some folks like their privacy or might be too tired for socializing while traveling. :) We'll be accessible to message throughout your stay and will take your lead on interaction! Other things to note Please note that we keep the inside and outside cats separated. The porch cats are semi-feral and not up to date with vaccinations, though some are very friendly. We have plenty of hand sanitizer available! If you touch any of the porch cats, please sanitize your hands before petting the inside cats. Please don't let the inside cats out or the outside cats in! :)
