About 5 miles away is the luxury residential complex Palmas del Mar, where public beach access is possible. Visitors check in with security and are allowed entry. The Wyndham Hotel is there, with golf cart rentals, restaurants, and beach facilities nearby. The beach is beautiful for photos and relaxing by the shore, but due to strong currents, we do not recommend swimming.
