No 1 Rose Cottages Studley Roger

No 1 is a 2 bedroom semi detached 100 year old cosy cottage with an AGA , a living room with an open fire. It is an unconverted cottage. So not a roll-top bath, brand new furniture kind of place! It is in the hamlet of Studley Roger, walking distance to Fountains Abbey and the city of Ripon. The garden is lovely. The cottage is a perfect base to walk, cycle, run , write your novel or play the piano. It is a great place for a quiet break from city. Well behaved dogs are welcome The space The kitchen is small with a table for 3 an electric Aga, washing up machine and fridge . In the out-buildings there is a microwave, washing machine and freezer. The living room has a sofa and an armchair and open fire. There is a garden room extension built 30 years ago. It is large space with a table seating 6 , a comfortable sofa bed. and an upright piano. Upstairs there is a double bedroom (standard double) and a single bedroom. If you have two young children, there is a single futon which can go on the floor in the single room. The bathroom has a bath with a powerful shower over it. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and garden. There is plenty of parking on the village street and it is 10 metres up shallow steps to the cottage. Other things to note The access is possible for someone with decreased mobility who can walk up stairs and steps. I think it would be impossible for a wheelchair user to enjoy this cottage due to changes in level and no downstairs shower.
