Orchard Yurt with woodfired hot tub

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Relax and unwind in this beautiful & spacious yurt with private wood fired hot tub and outdoor kitchen. Orchard yurt provides the perfect space to get away from it all, experience the great outdoors yet still be close to plenty of things to do. The yurt sleeps 2 in a king size bed, with wood burning stove for cooler evenings. A complimentary breakfast is included in the price for your first morning. The space The yurt is a spacious 16 feet diameter, offering a bright yet cosy space. A clear window in the roof provides light and is perfect for viewing the renowned Exmoor dark skies. Inside the yurt is a large King size bed with comfy mattress and luxurious white bed linen. Two bean bag chairs provide a perfect spot for relaxing or reading. A wood burning stove with logs provided ensures you are able to keep warm even on cooler evenings and makes the yurt even more cosy & romantic. Outside is a decked area offering the perfect space for sitting outside with a small dining table and chairs provided. A large oak gazebo with covered roof offers a great outside space whatever the weather for alfresco cooking and dining. A 2 ring gas hob is provided for boiling water for tea or coffee and basic cooking. A selection of saucepans, frying pans, crockery & cutlery is provided. Your own private wood fired hot tub sits just behind the yurt, screened by hazel hurdles on two sides allowing privacy but also views over the orchard. Logs are provided and the hot tub will be heated prior to your arrival on the first day. With fairy lights hanging from the hazel hurdles this provides a romantic space for couples and the perfect spot for viewing the stars. A firepit with BBQ grill is also provided with 2 camp chairs in the space below the yurt. Local sustainable charcoal is available to purchase from us @£7.50 for 2kg bag or bring your own. The yurt and gazebo building are powered by solar energy offering a fully off-grid experience. This provides lights, a camping fridge and phone charging points. A radio is also available with blue tooth functionality to allow you to listen to some music (quietly) or keep in contact with the outside world. There is no wi-fi, but mobile phone & 4G signal is good on most networks. A small selection of books & games are available. Your private toilet and shower room is across the orchard (approx 50metres away) with stone path to get you there. Here you will find a fully flushing loo and great shower. Faith in Nature toiletries are provided along with towels and bath robes. You will have your own key so belongings can be left here. A shared washing up room (shared with 2 other units) is located in the shower block with washing up supplies provided. Extra fridge space (shared), toaster and mains electric sockets are available here. You can access mains drinking water here. Outside the shower block are recycling and general waste bins. Guest access The yurt sits in a 2 acre orchard along with two other shepherds huts (both sleeping 2 people - so max 6 people on site). Each unit is well spaced apart and has their own outside area, accessed by individual paths. The orchard is open for all to enjoy, however, it is expected that everyone should respect the privacy and space of others on the site and keep dogs (if bringing them) under control at all times. The yurt is at the furthest point in the orchard and offers the most private space of all. There is a car parking space on the edge of the orchard and a stone path to take you from the car park to your yurt. You will have full access the the yurt, wood gazebo and designated outside area. There are shaded spots that you can sit in the shade under the apple trees for very hot days. Within the toilet block there are 3 individual toilet/shower rooms of which you will have sole access to one, with your own key so belongings can be left if you wish. The only shared space is the washing up room which all guests can access. Other things to note Up to 2 medium dogs are welcome with great walks from the doorstep - additional charge of £10 per stay. Dogs must be kept under control at all times and not be left un-attended in the yurt. A complimentary breakfast basket is included in the price for you to enjoy on your first morning. Choice of Full English (ingredients for you to cook the perfect fry up) or Continental. Hot tub should only be used between the hours of 09.00-23.00.
