The space meets all of our visions goals 4 things: great inet speeds, large tract of land would not see neighbors, day trip less than 3 hours to both great beach and mountains, and non-commercialized unique historical town still intact. We built in the things it lacked for remote work like commercial class grounding and lighting protection, back up generators for no downtime access. Rest assured you can work remotely here just like we have running our own data servers online from here for 11 years. The Brawn: Martin grew up in rural Pennsylvania and studied International Finance at Penn State University. His career began Trading on wall-street and it took him overseas where he eventually met Anyapat. He left trading to return to the USA and pursue this Camden Tea-garden adventure but still trades his own money for himself. If you ask any of his friends, they will say that wood working and building Airbnb's is his favorite hobby. He loves dreaming up and building ideas with his sawmill and wood shop and seeing them come to fruition for others to enjoy. He says it is relaxing to work with his hands not just a PC anymore. The Designer: Anyapat grew up in Thailand. She studied psychology at university and took a job as a fashion model which took her overseas to eventually a job in Singapore where she met Martin. She left modeling to come to the USA to start this journey as our home base to pursue her passion of family and travel together. She enjoys designing and decorating the Airbnb's and talking to the clients we get from all over. Her friends would say their favorite skill is gardening in her greenhouse/gardens so she can farm to table her unique style of Thai-southern infusion cooking. The kids and dogs: We have been blessed with 2 great kids and 2 happy dogs they are most likely moving fast like watching a road runner episode where you'll only catch a glimpse of them on the property as it has a lot of space for them to wonder and explore out of sight. The family is usually together working remotely on adventures where only thing changing is the seasonal location whether in the mountains at some national park, or a lake/beach in water sports. Post-booking details The Camden Tea-gardens is a larger residential estate. It is in Camden city limits 2 miles from downtown Camden but also sits inside 300 acres of green space in the city where you cant see or hear your neighbors, which is very unique to this area. The Property was owned by a family with roots to turn of century industry who owned a hosiery mill nearby and donated a lot of the surrounding land around the property to the town and it remains green-space today. It sat vacant for 13 years until we purchased it for a complete estate renovation to accomplish our goals. There are private trails on property you can hike and maybe see one of our red tail hawks or brown eagles that nest close by or watch a family of deer play that bed on the property. There is a butterfly garden that is an ongoing Monarch stop and bird feeder/ houses that bring in many song birds and even palliated woodpeckers at times. Its a great property to unwind and relax after a video conference or work and can go 2 miles to get to downtown for shopping then grab a lunch or a tea. We fell in love with the property/ town because both clicked our boxes and balanced our life-work goals well and conveniently as full-time remote workers since 2006. All the infrastructure of the facilities is designed around the remote worker lifestyle. GB inet/WIFI, Never Down services with backup generators onsite, lighting protection with class 3 lightening protection and grounding grid etc. Gated security and hd camera system for security. Work and play in confidence at the Camden Tea-Gardens in City of Camden surrounded by 300 acres of city green space.
