Wolkenberg Guestrooms am Waldrand

Our low-energy house, featuring a large garden and a covered south-facing terrace, is located right at the entrance to the Kempten Forest (incl. Castle ruins, pond…) with perfect opportunities for jogging/walks/bike rides. The house used to be the planing shop of a sawmill. You will stay there in your own, lockable area (2 rooms + large bathroom = approx. 55 m²) on the upper floor (no elevator) with a refrigerator, kettle, coffee, tea, etc. (no private kitchen —> you can use ours). We live in the rest of the house. The space The house is sustainably and regionally furnished. You will find a lot of (old) Allgäu wood and second-hand furniture in an industrial style – mixed with cozy accessories and plants. We value cleanliness – but of course, living shouldn't be neglected: In our living room (where you are also very welcome to spend time!), there are sometimes things lying around :-) The following currently live in the house (total approx. 260 m2): - Yvonne (host) and - Silvan (Yvonne's partner) Guest access You enter the house through our front door with a key or your fingerprint. This will be deleted again after your departure. From there, a staircase leads upstairs to your domain: a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom and a large bathroom with a rainforest shower and bathtub await you. You are also very welcome to use the terrace and the garden and relax on the south side. Thanks to the large canopy (the area used to be used for storing wood), you can stay there in (almost) any weather. After consultation, you can also use our kitchen or the washing machine and dryer. During your stay Although we are often on the go (Silvan has a long commute to work and I also work quite a lot – or am busy with volunteer work or hobbies 🤭), at least one of us is easily reachable (you will receive the numbers in our message shortly before your arrival), and we will try – as best we can – to help you with advice, tips and tricks. Other things to note Again for safety: - Unfortunately, I am very allergic to all kinds of animal hair – including pollen/grasses… That's why our house is equipped with pollen protection on “all fronts” (if you have allergies, you might also be happy about that ☺️) - You have your own, fully lockable area in my house. We will not enter this area during your stay. (Or only if you want it/need something, etc.) - For your safety, there is a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher in the room. If any of that was used, it would be great if you could let us know. - Even if something breaks or gets very dirty: please just let us know. It won't be bad.
