Enjoy quick driving or waterway access to Homosassa Springs & the Gulf of Mexico along with vibrant waterfront restaurants and bars. Take advantage of the provided paddle boards & kayaks to explore or dock your boat along our canal frontage. And - don't forget to check the river to spot Florida manatees! The space 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 In a region renowned for its outdoor recreation and fun, the 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 stands as your premier basecamp. From kayaking through mangrove tunnels to scalloping in the crystal-clear waters, the opportunities for adventure are boundless. The property includes 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 with plenty of room to dock 2 boats. Guests who do bring a boat can reach the Gulf of Mexico or Homosassa Springs, via the canal, enjoying amazing Florida views along the way. The boat lift on property; however, is not for guest use. Also, guests may use the (2) parking spots in the driveway. Per our HOA, we may not have any boat trailers in the driveway; however, you can park at the nearby Riverhaven Marina for a nightly fee. 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐔𝐍: There is a large pool and pool deck with plenty of space for all 10 guests to swim at once and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Please note: The pool is un-heated. Guests may also use the provided paddle boards, paddles and kayak for more Florida fun and sights. (Both adult and child-sized lifejackets are available for guest use.) Please review and adhere to house rules regarding usage. 𝐁𝐄𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐒: comfortable sleeping space for (10) people 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: California king-sized bed, sleeping accommodations for (2) people. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: King-sized bed, sleeping accommodations for (2) people. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: Bunk beds featuring a twin-sized bed on top which sleeps (1) and a full-sized bed on the bottom which also can sleeps (2). 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: Bunk beds featuring a twin-sized bed on top which sleeps (1) and a full-sized bed on the bottom which also can sleeps (2). 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐒: The primary bathroom has one sink, extensive counter space and a stand-up shower. The second bathroom has one sink and the stand-up shower. The third bathroom has double sinks, a stand-up shower, a tub shower and is located next to the third and fourth bedrooms. 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒: The kitchen bar top offers seating for (5) guests. The enclosed & cooled lanai offers additional mealtime seating with the wet bar (seating for (4) guests) and a dining room table offering seating for (8) guests. 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐗 & 𝐄𝐍𝐉𝐎𝐘: There is a family room with a large sectional, TV and ping pong table. There is also a living room with couch seating and canal views off of the kitchen. Homosassa offers a unique blend of natural beauty and family-friendly activities, making it the perfect destination for families, fishing enthusiasts, and nature lovers. The scene here is nothing short of amazing. Imagine crystal-clear springs teeming with manatees, inviting you for a swim, kayak, or snorkel adventure. The charming Old Florida atmosphere is evident throughout the area, with quaint waterfront restaurants, cozy shops, and friendly locals. Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is a stone's throw away, where you can get up close and personal with Florida's native wildlife. What we enjoy most about this area is its rich fishing culture. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a novice looking to catch your first fish, Homosassa is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. The pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico are easily accessible from our rental, offering incredible opportunities for deep-sea fishing, scalloping, and more. Nature enthusiasts will be in awe of the lush landscapes, the Homosassa River, and the nearby Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge. Homosassa truly embodies the essence of pure Florida fun. We chose this area because it's not just a destination; it's an experience waiting to be discovered. Guest access Guests will enjoy private access to the entire house 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 two closets, the garage and the boat lift. Other things to note Florida is renowned for its beautiful sunsets and its subtropical climate. This also means that we share the Sunshine state with bugs. Although we haven't encountered a problem at our property, we want to inform our guests that the 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 is serviced regularly by a professional insect and pest control company; therefore, we do not issue refunds for the rare tiny intruder. Renters can, however, contact us and we will immediately have our pest company come out for a good-measure spray. Thanks for understanding! We do allow up to (2) dogs - our non-refundable pet fee is $200. Please review our pet policy terms under the house rules section. This is a 90 day minimum stay. 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬: There are (4) Ring cameras on premises. All of them are framed outside including: the driveway, the front door, the rear of house (facing canal) and one on the pool deck facing the door. At our property, we prioritize your privacy and comfort. Our security cameras are primarily in place to ensure everyone's safety and monitor canal levels. Rest assured, we do not actively watch camera footage unless there is a specific security concern or the need to assess canal conditions. Your privacy is important to us, and we respect it fully.
