Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden
Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden
Description
Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner. The space Wren's Nest is an architect designed space, full of quirky details. It is open plan, with designated areas for eating, sleeping and relaxing. The large windows allow plenty of light to enter the studio, however the area has recently been planted to provide interest and some privacy. There are free range chickens in the garden. Guest access There is parking for one car, but we could find another space if needed. The studio is reached using a gravel pathway through the garden. Outside the studio is a little garden area, just for you, with a table and chairs. Other things to note The studio is completely self contained and has a designated parking space within our property. This is a very rural area surrounded by countryside and farmland, it can be quite muddy on the lane in winter. There are lovely walks directly from our home and many other walks a short drive away. Please be aware that the Internet is not great in this very rural location. It might be wise to download films/entertainment prior to arriving.
