Welcome to the Lily Pad, we are so excited to share our little slice of paradise with you! The space Our home is located in the northeast corner of the lake where the Oconomowoc River meets Okauchee Lake, giving you access to both beautiful waters. For golfers, we are located 15 minutes south of Erin Hills, a premier Midwest golf destination. For motorcyclists, we are right along the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive and next to Hollywoods Roadhouse Bar and Grill.  If you are a nature lover, you can watch the cranes , herons, and egrets as they wade in the wetlands fishing for their next meal and listen to the crickets and bullfrogs sing in the night. There is a double kayak, two single kayaks, and a four person paddle boat available for you to use at your own leisure to explore the surrounding waters.  Feel free to bring any of your own water toys to explore the lake, there are two docking spaces available and room in front of the garage to park several cars or a Truck/SUV with trailer.  Are you attending a wedding at the Golden Mast?  This humble abode is just an 8 minute drive away or zip across the lake on your boat.  The Lily Pad truly has something for everyone.      The Living Space: This is a 3 bedroom plus loft, 2 bathroom, 1700 sq foot home with 150ft of waterfront footage. When you walk through the front door, you will enter into the foyer with a reading nook to your left boasting large picture windows overlooking the lake.  To your right you will see an open concept living space with a wall of picture windows overlooking the lake, vaulted tongue and grove ceilings, natural pine trim-work, a fully stocked kitchen with island and quartzite countertops, an eight person dining room table and a comfy "L" shaped couch with 60in Roku TV.  Off the kitchen you will find bedroom 1 with a queen sized bed. Across from this bedroom is a full bath (tub/shower combo). Between the kitchen and living room is a ladder that lowers to provide access to the loft. As you walk down the stairs from the living room area, you will enter the lower level bar, complete with a beverage/wine refrigerator as well as an ice maker for your patio cocktails and boat cooler.  This area walks out to the spacious deck overlooking the water.  To the left of the bar you will find bedroom 2, a small but cozy bedroom/nursery with a full bed as well as a crib and changing table.  To the right of the bar you will enter bedroom 3, the master, with a king size bed and walkout patio door to the deck.  This lower level also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower that adjoins with the laundry room offering commercial sized washer/dryer.  The spacious gated deck is equipped with an outdoor sectional sofa, gas fire pit table, patio table with umbrella, and large gas grill. Walk down the stairs off the deck and down the grass pathway to find yourself at an elevated fire pit overlooking the lake. Dottie's gas station/convenience store is just a 2 minute drive away and offers literally anything and everything you could possibly need, plus, their home-made bakery items are delightful! Other nearby attractions/eateries: Stone Bank Farmer's Market Kim's Pizza Boondock's Kuhtz's Boating on the lake: We absolutely love this lake and all it has to offer.  There are multiple bar/restaurants that can be accessed by boat, including Hollywoods Bar and Grill, The Hideaway, The Golden Mast, Foolery's, Smoke on the Water, Kick Switch, and Whiskey Waters. Please do not park in Hollywood's parking lot. We do have a ring doorbell for security purposes at our front door.  *We have 2 boat slip renters. Access to their boats is the stairs between the garage and house. You may see them or us in passing when heading out on the boat. *We do have 2 extra slips at no extra charge for our AirBnb renters.
