Rural retreat close to Mt Maunganui

Nestled at the base of the Minden Hills with panoramic views of undisrupted nature, this house is all about relaxation. The only noise is bird song, yet you're just 5 minutes from Bethlehem shops, 15 minutes from central Tauranga and 20 minutes from Mt Maunganui. Recently renovated this house has everything you need for any season, including a log fire for winter. A perfect place for children - there is a small outdoor playground and plenty of room for them to run around. The space The house is completely private and separated from the owner's house by a long driveway and huge lawn. It has two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second has two singles. The living space is open plan, with a kitchen connected to the lounge. Relax in the evening on the balcony, taking in the beautiful views of Minden Hills. It's a great place to just switch off, but wifi is provided and smart tv. Help yourself to lemons, oranges, strawberries and feijoas (when in season). There are a number of animals neighboring the property. Goats and bulls often wander around the neighbour's paddocks. We have a couple of friendly sheep who love apples and pears. There are also 5 free range chickens (no roosters), though we can keep them in their run if you're prefer. We often hear the same thing from visitors 'wow what a spot, I had no idea this was here'. Because it's so close to the center of Tauranga people often don't expect it to be so peaceful, with such incredible views. We feel like it's a hidden paradise and hope you'll love it too. Guest access The house is at the end of a shared driveway, with private parking. There is an extensive private garden surrounding the house. We live next door, so we're on hand to answer any questions though equally will always respect your privacy.
