The Tanne is located in the heart of Wernigerode and served as a rest stop/inn for carters, horse-riding messengers and servants of Wernigerode Castle as early as 1753. Today it is run by the fourth generation, lovingly and family-friendly. During the renovation in 2021-2023, the half-timbering and clay walls were made visible again. The modern and the historical were tastefully brought into harmony, inviting you to linger and relax. The "Tanne" has been visited by many guests and personalities over the years, why not you too?
