Mama n ‘Ems

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Located in a rural community only 4 miles from New Albany and 30 minutes from Ole Miss, Mama n ‘ems is nestled in beautiful, hundred year old oak trees. My childhood home has been updated to bring you all the comforts of home with the modern amenities to which you are accustomed. Please bear with us as we are waiting on crews to work on the driveway and some other outside work. Nonetheless, it’s just like coming to visit Mama ‘n ‘em, only better! The space Two nicely appointed bedrooms, one king with firmer mattress and one queen, with a super comfy Leesa memory foam mattress. Both bedrooms have 42” televisions. Living room has a game table and loads of comfortable seating and recliners! Watch your favorite shows with Direc streaming tv ( the app with D) on our 55” smart tv, Netflix or Amazon Prime. Or feel free to download your own apps. Guests agree not to purchase movies or shows unless on their own account and if same is done, agree to pay any and all charges to host. High speed WiFi is located throughout the house for your work, scrolling or streaming . We recommend putting your phone on WiFi mode to be able to make and receive calls. Cell service is spotty otherwise Kitchen and dining have plenty of cookware for whatever kind of meal you would like to prepare. There is also a bbq grill outside for your use. If there is charcoal and lighter fluid, please feel free to use but leave remainder for the next group. ALSO if you USE the grill, you must CLEAN the grill. Please move it out from under the carport to use We have lovely outdoor spaces on our deck for sitting. While there is a NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE the house, you may do so on the deck or anywhere away from the windows and doors. Please pick up all cigarette butts. An ashtray is on a table on the deck. Please carry your sacked trash to the end of the driveway and deposit it in one of the green cans during your stay or as you leave. Garbage removal runs on Tuesday mornings. We certainly hope you enjoy your stay at Mama n ‘ems! Y’all come back and see us real soon. Guest access You have full access to the house with the partial exclusion of some of the back bedroom furniture . The owners closet is locked and we also use the lingerie chest, bed drawer and small chest of drawers for our personal belongings. There is a chest of drawers for you to use and a closet in the other bedroom The front bedroom is all yours to access. You will also find a box fan in the closet. Remember that overhead lights and fans operate on a remote control. Please keep them where you find them. You may use the carport. Bathroom is on a septic tank and we request only toilet paper be flushed. If a plumber must make a service call due to unapproved items being flush, guest will assume that charge. Other things to note No one can stay at night unless they are registered, including children Registering guest must register with ID ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OR SMOKING
