This is a perfect spot for a family or group vacation. The space Welcome to our spacious log cabin retreat in Waynesville, North Carolina. Our cabin is perfect for families or groups of up to 12 guests, featuring 4 bedrooms and an open loft sleeping room. We are set in a rustic area central to hiking, skiing, fly fishing and exploring small town life. We are just a short 15 minute drive to downtown Waynesville, where you can discover unique shops, local restaurants and breweries and the beloved Mast General Store. Just 20 minutes from the cabin, you will find the local Ski Spot- Cataloochee Ski Area and Tube World. The cabin is also conveniently located 30 minutes to Asheville, whether you want to explore the Biltmore Estates, the River Arts District or the nearby hikes and tubing experiences. Our cabin offers a blend of modern and rustic decor, with two living rooms and two cozy gas log fireplaces upstairs and downstairs. You will love our brand new hot tub on our front deck area overlooking the mountains and valleys in the winter months. It is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the area. Inside, guests can take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats up to 8. We also have additional seating for 8 on our back deck as well as one gas grill and one charcoal grill (propane is provided, charcoal is not ). We have everything you need in the kitchen to make a meal for a crowd. If you are looking for in home entertainment, we have a garage which has been converted into a fun gameroom for kids and adults of all ages. The playroom has ping pong, foosball, a large tv with an Xbox and playstation, an arcade game, axe throwing, and more. We also have a game table for poker, bumper pool, cards and puzzles in our lower level, as well as a bar area perfect for watching sports or movies. With sleeping accommodations for up to 12 guests, this cabin is perfect for a family gathering or group of friends. We aim to provide our guests with a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay. Guest access You will have access to the entire home aside from an unfinished room above the garage and the locked owners closets that keep supplies for our cleaning crew. Other things to note Please note that we have a Ring Doorbell on our property for your security and our homes security and it does record motion and sound. We do not have other recording cameras on the property. Please do not tamper with the Ring Doorbell as it is also connected to our keyless entry. If you plan to travel in the winter months, we strongly suggest having a 4 wheel drive vehicle and snow tires as our driveway is steep. Our driveway may also be difficult for motorcycles to enter as the drive up to the house, while short, is gravel until you make the turn to our home, which is paved.
