Our cosy cottage is well equipped and modern with rustic features with original beams throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped for those that like to cook as well as having an award winning pub in the village. We have a great location, a few miles from stunning lakeland countryside in the quietest part of the lakes with easy access to Crummock (great for wild swimming), Loweswater, Buttermere and Ennerdale. St Bees , the start of the coast to coast walk and other beaches are not far away. The space The kitchen is open plan with a diner at one end. There is plenty of space to prepare food and there is lots of equipment. There are plates etc for 8 people. The cosy sitting room is very comfortable with two two seater settees and a chair, lamps and a rug. There are games and books, information on the area, maps etc in a cupboard in the sitting room . The upstairs is very comfortable with good beds etc. The outside area has outdoor chairs and table and a BBQ. There is a large front lawn for guests to use and if you have a dog the gate can be shut so it is an enclosed space. We have parking off road outside the property for two cars. If you need more space for cars please ask the host. Guest access The guests will have use of the front of the property and the garden adjacent to it.
