Stabburet at Balsnes Gård

The storehouse at Balsnes invites to a pleasant and unique stay. Here you can bring your girlfriend, family or friends and experience idyll, marine life and farm life. Here you can borrow a canoe in fresh water, get delicious sand between your toes on the beach, rent a boat and paddle board in the marina, fish crab with crabs and much more. The space The storage room is an old building that originally had as a function to store food. It was preferably the first building that was built, so we assume that the storehouse is from before 1884. A locksmith who has been a guest in the union has arrived that the lock itself can be from the 1600s or 1700s. The lock mechanism itself is intact, but the key we have had copied. The storehouse has been recently renovated, but a lot of old is still taken care of. Bathroom consists of toilet and sink. Towels are provided. Shower can be found outside behind the storehouse. There is also a time to take off your shoes and jackets. Slippers can be borrowed as it can be floor cold. The kitchen consists of toaster, kettle, portable hob, coffee maker, small fridge and otherwise what you need to make yourself something easy to eat. The cooking for the stay should be planned as you can't use many pots at the same time. Outside you also have access to a gas grill and a barbecue room with dining areas. Inside you also have a wood-fired bakery oven that is great for roasting some dough pizzas. Guests of the stable have free access to firewood. On the 2nd floor are the sleeping places. An alcove with a double bed, and 2 alcoves with a single bed. Dining chair and travel bed from 0-3 years can be inserted into the storage room if needed. Note; water has been put in but no hot water. The farm itself today has some goats and a couple of hens. Otherwise, the operation is fishing tourism and tourism in the spring/summer as well as hunting in the autumn. Guest access You have free access to the Grillstua by the storehouse. A large saucepan and hot plate to boil crab can be borrowed. Also has a wood fired crab cooker guests can use. On the farm it is also possible to book a boat, SUP, canoe and sand volleyball court. On the field you can play sand volleyball, beach tennis or just barbecue and hang out. :) Other things to note For guests who want to fish, you can borrow a small freezer that is in an annex in the yard. There are also extra refrigerators that are convenient for longer stays.
