The Inn at White Gate Farm is located in southeastern Connecticut on 100 acres of growing fields, woods and ponds, with extensive lake frontage. In these pandemic times, we offer the 7- bedroom farmhouse and/or cabin on the lake as a glorious safe retreat. We request a 3-night minimum. White Gate Farm offers a wide array of tasty, nutritious produce, eggs, chickens, prepared foods and pastries. We would be glad to assemble special orders for you to enjoy as is or cook in your kitchen. Or the farm chef would be glad to make you dinner. You are invited to explore the grounds, hike the trails in the woods, and visit the farm animals. One of the farmers will be happy to give you a tour, explaining our organic growing methods or highlighting whatever you are interested in. Summer visitors can enjoy the swimming pool with its own pool house and the glorious lake + dock. The core of the house was built in 1765 and features the original fireplace. Each room has a private bath. There are 2 working gas fireplaces.
