Iconic architecture, this famous Jon Knott pole home is a world away from the hustle and bustle, whilst only a short drive to surrounding towns of Malanda, Millaa Millaa and the lakeside resort town, Yungaburra. The rainforest is alive with birdlife and other exotic animals including the rare Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo. For those who enjoy bushwalking there are platypus living in creeks nearby and pastures to explore. With 2 luxury bedrooms on the main level, 1 double room beside a garden view and one bunk room on the lower level, and 3 single beds on the mezzanine, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. Soak in the majestic views across to the rainforest, Mt Bellenden Ker and Mt Bartle Frere from the large balcony. The fully equipped kitchen and dining opens out to the deck and bbq area. Intimate gatherings and small events are welcome but please discuss with your host. High speed internet keeps you connected if needed. Please note this is a beautiful, large 3 story home. There are stairs and a mezzanine floor. If you have a toddler you may want to consider your options for their safety, we do have a safety gate for your convenience. This is the guest’s responsibility. Note: the tri-bunk sleeps 3 (single on top and double beneath). Other things to note The nearest shops are about a 15 min drive.
