Charming cottage in scenic North Dorset

Aplands Cottage is a cosy two-bedroom cottage situated in the village of Child Okeford. This delightful village is in the heart of the rolling North Dorset countryside at the foot of Hambledon Hill. Amenities include an excellent local pub less than a minute from the property and a well-stocked village shop. The location is perfect for walkers and families as a base for getting to all the best that Dorset offers. Just so you know, the cottage does not have a rear garden. The space Aplands Cottage is located in the village of Child Okeford and was formerly a worker's cottage for the land behind it. The newly refurbished property has a small front garden and no rear outside space. It sleeps up to 3 people (1 double and one single bed). Living Area A small and cosy living area with a large 3-seater leather sofa and working log burner. Guests can view the smart TV on the 37-inch TV with a Yamaha sound bar, which can also be used for music streaming. Kitchen The well-equipped kitchen features marble worktops, integrated fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, full-size Bosch dishwasher, microwave, LG 7kg washer/dryer, induction hob, Bosch single oven, Nespresso coffee machine and cafetiere. Bathroom The bathroom and toilet are downstairs at Aplands Cottage. The bathroom features a shower, bath, toilet, and sink. Fresh towels are provided for guests. Bedroom 1 The main bedroom has a double bed, Emma mattress, fresh linen with a minimum 400-count count, a small open wardrobe, and a tallboy chest. It overlooks the road (Gold Hill) with a view towards open countryside in the distance. Bedroom2 Single bed with Emma mattress, fresh linen with minimum 400 count, small open wardrobe and overlooks neighbouring gardens. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the cottage as well as front outdoor area. Other things to note Aplands Cottage is situated on the road through Child Okeford and near a very popular pub. On most occasions, it is possible to park immediately outside the property (the space is small and overlaps the neighbours fence), but parking cannot be guaranteed. Parking is available throughout the village and on-street. As mentioned elsewhere, there is no rear outdoor space at Aplands Cottage - the outdoor space is to the front of the property.
