Set in the heart of Kintyre, the apartment is perfectly positioned to explore the beauty of Kintyre or the nearby islands of Islay, Arran or Gigha. Stay here to unplug from the world and enjoy the sights & sounds of working smallholding: the cockerel crows in the morning, the happy bleating of newly-born lambs and the curious hens coming to peck at your door. The space Set in a working smallholding and a tiny yet busy B&B, this studio apartment is self-contained with its own independent entrance. It comprises of a en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed, a well-appointed kitchenette, and a cosy lounge area with a wood burner, all overlooking the garden with free-ranging chickens and waterfowl. We aim to provide you with a true break from the hectic life, therefore a non-existent phone signal, limited WiFi, and no TV in the house should be seen as a welcome help to a media detox! Guest access Although the flat is fully self-contained, some areas like parking, garden, and walkways leading to the flat are shared with our other B&B guests. Think of it as a self-contained suite in the B&B building. Whilst this makes the apartment not suitable for those looking for "get away from it all" holiday experience, it can be an added convenience to have the B&B so close by. Cooked breakfast or a restaurant-quality dinner, normally served at our B&B, MIGHT be available (subject to additional charges & availability - please enquire at the time of booking). Other things to note SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS We hope that you will love your stay with us, but if there's anything you need that we haven't listed or you have special requirements, please contact us via booking request to make sure we can accommodate it. PETS / ALLERGIES We love animals but unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets. There are free-ranging animals on the property, as well as our 3 friendly dogs. Whilst our dogs are not allowed in the guest accommodation, you might want to give us a miss if you suffer from pet allergies or don't enjoy the animals' company. HIKING HOLIDAYS The Farmhouse is rurally located and public transport is very limited, please bear this in mind when planning if you are considering walking/hiking holidays.
