The space This modern desert home in Joshua Tree comes with distinguishable luxury comforts such as an Restoration Hardware Cloud Sectional, 12" plush pillowtop mattresses and full en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom. The open concept living space features high ceilings, ample natural light, and luxury furnishings including a 85 inch TV screen. Breakfast nook and dining room with table for eight. Fully stocked kitchen including variety of spices, olive oil and cooking oil, a griddle stove, blender and milk frother. Master bedroom: king bed, TV, telescope, ensuite bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower, walk in closet. Second bedroom: queen bed, TV, ensuite bathroom with tub. Third bedroom: queen bed, TV, ensuite bathroom with shower. Outdoors: heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ. This is where you will spend a lot of time. An absolute must is soaking in the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful night sky of JT. See if you can spot Saturn and the many constellations that can be clearly seen. Then gather round by the fire pit and continue your star gazing journey there. ** The pool is heated by a natural gas heater in the winter and stays refreshingly cool in the summer months. Guests who wish to use gas to heat the pool, spa and fire pit must pay actual gas expenses which are calculated and charged after your stay. Checkout our guidebook for local recommendations. Guest access The space is completely private with access to the entire home, with the exception of the garage. Other things to note Rather than add a flat pool heat fee, renters pay actual costs of natural gas for pool/spa heat and fireplace use (usually ranging between $10-$75 a day depending on use). In winter, outside temperatures are low making it take several hours to heat the pool. Pool heat should be requested prior to check in as heating will need to start several hours before arrival. The pool cleaning service is on Tuesdays. We hire local single moms to do all of our cleaning. We believe in paying them a fair wage and 100% of our cleaning fees go directly to them.
