The Angel's Nest cottage

Enjoy the peace and quiet of this village house in the heart of the meandering Allier valley and the historic centre of Saint Privat d'Allier! The house is one of the oldest buildings in the village and was lovingly restored in 2006 to create a warm and charming atmosphere. We renovated it in 2023 to guarantee you a comfortable stay. Enjoy stunning views over the Allier valley from the private terrace. The space The house is arranged over three levels and comprises : On the ground floor, accessed from the street: a bright living room with fully equipped kitchen (Tassimo coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc.), dining area, shower room with walk-in shower and WC. 1st floor: two cosy, harmoniously styled bedrooms, each with a 160cm double bed, one of which has a view over the valley. Basement: a cosy lounge, ideal for relaxing, and a practical utility room, all opening onto a private, unoverlooked terrace with a unique, panoramic view over the Allier valley. For your convenience, small groceries and hygiene products will be provided (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, coffee and tea/infusion for the first morning, a dishwasher tablet, shower gel, etc). Rates include utilities, bed linen (duvets, pillows, full set of sheets), one bath towel per traveller and a shower mat. The house is not suitable for young children and for people with reduced mobility (stairs, floors). End-of-stay cleaning: €50 per stay. Guest access You have the whole house at your disposal, so you can take advantage of all the spaces offered above. Other things to note There is a free car park nearby (110 m) where you can park your vehicle(s). You can park in the square in front of the house to drop off your luggage and shopping, but please do not park there for the duration of your stay. The Auvergne Rhônes-Alpes region offers a bus service (line H4) to Le Puy-en-Velay/Monistrol-d'Allier/Saugues, with a stop in Saint Privat d'Allier town centre.
