The Croft at Sungura

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sit on the verandah, sipping a sundowner and watch the zebra, waterbuck and hippo grazing right in front of you. This charming two bed cottage is on the shores of Lake Naivasha, set in the grounds of Sungura Farm where you can wander around, watch the birds on the lake shore and spot the game. The space The cottage has indoor and outdoor dining and seating areas with a well-equipped kitchen, including filtered drinking water. There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other room has two single beds. The bathroom is bright and airy with a bath and separate shower. It is stocked with a range of natural products from Cinnabar Green, a locally produced and environmentally responsible cosmetics company that we love. There is also a separate cloakroom with another toilet. The garden looks out onto Lake Naivasha, providing amazing views of the wildlife as they graze on the shores. Guest access The lake shore area is a communal area shared with other guests. There is also a gym on site for all guests to use. Other things to note We are committed to the environment and champions of sustainability, doing our best to protect and conserve the overall biosphere here at Sungura. This includes solar water heating systems throughout, recycling, a veg garden, cosmetics from a local, environmentally responsible company who make their products from natural ingredients; just to list a few! Jenny has also recently begun another project replanting trees and grasses on the farm.
