Peedie Cott is a beautiful one bedroom house in the picturesque village of St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, perfect for a couple or an individual visitor. Peedie Cott is within walking distance from the ferry to Scottish mainland and, is also on the main bus route to Kirkwall and Stromness. Peedie Cott has an open plan spacious living area with log burner, and a retro style kitchen from which you can go outside and sit on the deck. Upstairs in the bedroom, is a king size bed and plenty of storage. The space Peedie Cott is a charming 1-bedroom traditional stone built house house which is designed to offer guests a cosy and comfortable stay. Peedie Cott boasts a mix of traditional and modern features to provide you with all the comforts of home. Peedie Cott has a small hallway for you to kick off your shoes and hang up your coat after a long day exploring all that Orkney has to offer. A cosy yet spacious living room awaits, leading into a light and airy retro-vintage kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances. You will also find a fully fitted bathroom on the ground floor with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs, a large bedroom with a king-size bed to ensure you have a restful sleep. There is ample storage including a double wardrobe and full size chest of drawers. Back downstairs and leading outside from the kitchen, you will find a secluded enclosed garden with a decking area and seating to enjoy a glass of something as you watch the sunset against a backdrop of twinkling solar lights. Guest access Guests are able to acess the whole property and the fully enclosed garden. Other things to note Peedie Cott has air source heating and as such, the log burner is not part of the 'required' heating. Should you wish to make use of the log burner during your stay, logs and kindling can be provided at a cost of £10, payable on arrival. Alternatively, you may wish to bring these items with you or, purchase them locally. Please let me know via email prior to your arrival if you would like me to purchase logs and kindling on your behalf.
