A private bedroom in a beautiful, peaceful, shared home with a comfortable bed, TV, and plenty of storage space in the room. Guests will have access to the shared spaces, including the backyard, outdoor kitchenette, clearly marked cabinet space in the kitchen, living room, workspace, and the cozy family room. The backyard has a covered patio with lots of seating, shaded garden area, bbq, fire pit, and a pool. Plenty of parking space for guests with cars. Book your stay now! The house is a shared space. The room is private, and you will have access to a shared bathroom as well. Guests will have access to their own private rooms, a shared bathroom, the “guest area” in the kitchen, which is clearly labeled, & your own cabinets in the kitchen, marked with labels. We ask that you do not engage in time-consuming, smokey, or heavily-fragrant cooking or baking in the kitchen. Kitchen basics are available, but if you need any extra pots and pans, please let us know and give us a list of you special requests and we will provide them for you. Guests will also have access to the downstairs living room and family room areas, outdoor kitchenette, fire pit, pool, backyard, etc., but please be aware that this is a shared space, so we ask you to actually *share* the space. The hosts and a property manager will be available on site to assist you with anything you may need. We value and respect your privacy and will follow your lead regarding our interactions. Family-friendly, quiet, and safe: Our neighborhood is known for being family-friendly, with quiet streets and safe surroundings. It's a great place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Location: Our neighborhood is located away from the city noise with easy access to major highways, including CA-14 and SR-138, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area while staying in the most peaceful and safe part of town. You'll find plenty of amenities a short drive away, including grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. Outdoor recreation: Palmdale is known for its beautiful natural scenery and outdoor recreational opportunities. The nearby Angeles National Forest offers hiking, camping, and fishing opportunities, while the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is a must-visit during the springtime when the poppies are in bloom. Parking: You can park on the street in front of our property on Gila Ct or on the neighboring streets. There is usually tons of space right in front of the house and it’s quite safe. Getting Around: Car: The most common mode of transportation in Palmdale is by car. Our neighborhood has ample parking available, so you won't have to worry about finding parking spaces. Public transportation: Palmdale does have a public transportation system called AVTA (Antelope Valley Transit Authority) that operates local buses within the city and also connects to neighboring areas. You can check the AVTA website for schedules and routes. Rideshare services: Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available in Palmdale, providing convenient options for getting around the area without a car. Biking and walking: Palmdale also has a number of bike lanes and sidewalks, making it possible to explore the neighborhood on foot or by bike, especially for shorter distances. Please note that while Palmdale does have public transportation options, they may not be as extensive or frequent compared to Los Angeles, and having a car or using rideshare services may be more convenient for getting around.
