Very walk-friendly. Great for remote work. Free street parking. The space Explore West Los Angeles from our chic Venice Surfer's pad! Newly remodeled, this private suite is just a 1-2 minute walk to the ocean. You'll be in a quiet neighborhood south of the Venice Pier with lots of nearby attractions like the Venice Boardwalk, Venice Canals, and Abbot Kinney Blvd. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars at Washington Square are just a few blocks away. It's an ideal spot for surfers, beach lovers, and business travelers alike. The suite is located on the ground level and has many of the comforts of home! Compact and cozy, there's a luxurious king-sized bed, a desk that can be a workspace or a dining table, and a 43" Crystal Smart UHD-TV where you can stream content on Netfilx, Hulu, Disney+, etc. from your own accounts. There's a closet where you can store your clothes and a small dresser as well. While we don't have a full kitchen, we do have a kitchenette area, and you'll be able to prepare some basic meals if needed. The fridge and freezer are mid-sized (larger than a mini-fridge) and can store a descent amount of food. We provide an electric hot plate burner where you can cook, pots and pans, along with glassware, plates, utensils, etc. We also have a microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee machine, and a tea kettle. The bathroom includes a glass door shower. It also has an industrial-sized sink so you can wash dishes, etc. if needed. The real gem is the private patio area, which is fully fenced and includes a fire pit, BBQ grill, as well as outdoor seating. It's a great spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and even get some work done if needed. There's a small outdoor shower where you can wash off the sand from the beach. We also have a small dining table so you can enjoy a meal alfresco. We provide beach towels and beach chairs, too! Our Chic Venice Surfers' pad is great for couples, solo-adventurers, remote works, and of course surfers! Maximum occupancy of 2 people. Guest access The suite and patio area pictured are private and yours to enjoy during your stay. Please note that the suite is part of a house where the owner lives on the other side. It's also part of a building with another condo next door where that owner lives above. The patio pictured is located on the ground level and reserved only for guests in this suite. There's a locked gate with a code to enter from the street as well as a side gate that locks, but doesn't have a punch code lock. The door to your suite has a secured punch code lock on the outside. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: This is a private suite with its own separate and private entrance that's part of a larger home where the owners live. You'll just have access to the suite that's pictured and described in this listing; there's a double locked door behind a curtain inside the suite that will be securely locked during your stay to ensure privacy. The suite is like an apartment room, and as such there will be a normal level of apartment sounds. There are families who live above as well as on both sides of the unit. We have done our best to sound-proof, but if hearing sounds from other units will bother you or if you are noise-sensitive, we recommend booking a different listing. This is a cozy suite with lots of charm and it's in a great location. Please note that the room is a bit on the smaller side, though it comes equipped with many amenities! PARKING: There is no on-site parking spot. You can also utilize free street parking in the neighborhood. It's usually easy to find a spot on either our street or a nearby street within a few blocks. Parking can be a bit difficult during the summer months and on holiday weekends, as well as during bi-weekly street sweeping times. KITCHEN: We DO NOT have a full kitchen in this suite, but we do have a nice kitchenette area where you can prepare some basic food. There's a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, and tea kettle. We provide dishware, glassware, flatware, and some basic cookware. The sink in the bathroom is a larger industrial type, and great for washing dishes if needed . We also have a propane grill outside on the patio. WiFi: We have the strongest wireless internet offered by our provider. We have hosted many "work from home" guests who have been on numerous video conferencing calls with no issues. Check-In/Check-Out Times: We use a self-check-in system that allows you to check-in at 4pm or any time after. Check out time is 11am. We DO NOT allow early check-ins or or late check outs. Air Conditioning/Heat: There's a portable AC during warm weather months and also a tower fan for cooling the room. We provide a tower space heater for heating as well. PACKAGE DELIVERY: You must get permission before having any packages or letters mailed to our home. We do not offer concierge service and as such you are responsible for signing and retrieving any packages delivered to you. We are not responsible for any mail that is lost or stolen.
