Nestled on over 11 private acres with panoramic views of legendary Millbrook Mountain, it is here where you will find your ideal romantic getaway. Enter the long unassuming gravel driveway only to witness the completely round stone structure, with 9 foot old-world door, and balconies as imagined in an enchanted fairytale. The space Upon entering, soak in the one-of-a-kind cedar wood work (milled on our own property) and unique furniture pieces created by the owner. We ask all visitors to remove their shoes upon entering (or put on the booties we provide) to keep the space sacred and pristine for your stay. Millbrook Castle is a living piece of art and is ideal for a romantic getaway for two but can accommodate up to 4 adults (although limited privacy due to open floor plan). There are two full bathrooms, one beautiful king bed, one queen size futon and a lofted meditation space for those wanting to connect to the energy of the area. **PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accommodate children under 8 years old.** Ulster County has lured urban dwellers for years with a package of fresh air, green space and enlightenment. Millbrook Castle was custom built to bring to life these principles in a one-of-a-kind experience. Rock climbing, hiking, sky-diving, biking, kayaking and walking trails are just minutes away. By the way... we have a personal rock climbing shed on the property! Get a work out and enjoy! The town of Gardiner, New Paltz, Rosendale and Kingston are literally minutes away where you can’t go wrong with choosing a restaurant or perusing the shops and local events! Guest access The entire tiny castle and 11 acre property is yours to enjoy privately during your stay. There are walking trails around the property, although they tend to get muddy in the Spring and Fall, as the land is retired agricultural. Still, feel free to explore, and don't forget about the climbing shed! Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE: Millbrook Castle has an open floor plan which limits privacy and has over 40 steps and 4 separate and unique stair cases. All guests must be able to go up and down numerous steps to access any and all rooms. - We cannot accomodate pets or children under 8 years old - We are not handicap accessible
