Our newly renovated Casa de Sanchez is bright and spacious, and has every comfort you could wish for during your stay. We remodeled it in 2016 down to the studs as if we would live here ourselves. Gourmet chef's kitchen, en suite baths with heated floors, private garden, high quality finishes, five skylights, and super walkable to both Broadway (two blocks) and downtown Burlingame (twelve minutes or so). Both bedrooms have their own private baths, plus an extra powder room in the hall. The space Well, when we bought the home we fell in love with its original 1924 Spanish character. We've poured our hearts into renovating and restoring it over the last year to modernize it and add the creature comforts we'd want for ourselves. Though it's a two bedroom, it's well sized at 1,300 square feet, so it feels pretty spacious, and we have five skylights. Lots of light hits the house, which we totally love! We added red clay tiles and cheery hand painted Spanish tiles on the front steps that we imagine might have existed when our home was first built. We've added some touches that we hope you enjoy. The home is stocked with most of what you could possibly need (if you're missing something to make your stay more comfortable, just ask!), including a full kitchen with built in desk, washer/dryer, and air conditioning (not necessary most of the year in Burlingame but nice to have). Both bedrooms are en suite with queen beds so perfect for two couples or individuals, with individual dual overhead LED reading lights, and the bathrooms have heated floors, while the master bath has a skylight. We have a queen air mattress available upon request that can be set up in the living room, as well as a Baby Bjorn pack and play for kiddos. Our home is stocked with fresh towels and linens for your use, and both bedrooms have closets as well. There's a 55 inch 4K HDTV in the living room ideal for presentations or just chilling out watching sports after a long day. The dining room table seats six comfortably, but with an extra leaf added can hold eight. It's a lot of fun to cook here, relax, wind down, or crash before a work meeting. The home has Sonic fiber wifi (blazing fast at at gigabit), YouTubeTV, Sonos in most rooms, and Tesla charging. We also have a new whole home Merv 15 HEPA air purification system as well as individual Coway HEPA filters in each room in the house (we lived in the house through the fires last year and they worked wonders). We also hope you enjoy our newly planted garden and landscape! We have a redwood deck in back, a brick patio, teak table, a couple of Adirondack chairs, and added a redwood trellis with a wood bench to chill out under our 100+ year old oak tree that provides a lot of shade. Guest access The whole home is all yours. We do have a garage where we store some personal items, but other than that we hope you enjoy your time here. Other things to note It is so important to us that you have a wonderful experience and get to enjoy a taste of Burlingame if you wish!
