The front of the property overlooks the mouth of the River Tyne, and the Arbeia Roman Fort and Visitor Centre can be seen to the rear. Several of town's restaurants have won awards (Colmans Seafood Temple and Delhi 6 Indian street to name but two) offering guests exciting eating experiences which are accessible on foot! There is a pub (The Harbour Lights) around the corner from the property, currently serving food. The Haven Point leisure centre, which has two large swimming pools, a gym, café and sauna, is only 10 minutes' walk away. Getting Around 25 minutes on the Metro will bring you to Newcastle City Centre and 15 minutes to central Sunderland. 10 minutes by car and you are in the Tyne Tunnel which is the gateway to Northumberland and Scotland.
