Bring your family and make memories at our home away from home! We are located about a 10 min walk from the ferry. Our space is completely updated for your family to relax and enjoy modern conveniences while experiencing the nostalgia of years gone by in this historic beach cottage on Peaks Island. We named our place “Virginia” after its longtime owner who was a dearly-loved member of the Peaks Island community. Summer rentals are a 6 night minimum, Fall and Spring 3, and winter is 2. Full kitchen with dining space. Full bathroom located on the main floor along with laundry. 3 bedrooms and a half bath are upstairs. Guests have use of the entire house and yard. We are available via text for any needs guests may have. Most of the neighborhood is made up of full-time Island residents. People are very friendly and courteous as long as you respect that this is their home. Peaks Island is entirely walkable, but there are also bikes and golf carts available for rent when you get off the ferry. A reservation is required. You're also able to bring your car on the ferry and we have free parking in front of our house if you choose to bring your vehicle. Peaks Island is an excellent place for a slow-paced family vacation and to celebrate holidays. The entire island is walkable with a grocery store, restaurants, a coffee shop, a gift and ice cream shop, and even a public library. Most restaurants are closed during the off-season (Nov-April) but the grocery store is still open. There are sandy and rocky beaches and so much to explore that no one should be bored! Experiencing the beaches at high tide and low tide is also a unique opportunity to investigate sea life. Golf carts and bikes are available to rent on the island (reservations required).
