A beautiful, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom spacious 1st floor apartment with shared swimming pool, large balcony and rooftop terrace for sea views and sunset drinks. Extremely well equipped and furnished, you will feel right at home in Betty’s Place. Betty has provided everything you need for a wonderful holiday in Barbados. Freights Bay surfers beach and lovely Miami Beach are walking distance away. Oistins town is nearby with shops, restaurants and the famous Friday night fish fry-up. The space consists of a large open plan kitchen, living room and dining area along with two spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The balcony leads off of both the living space and the master bedroom. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. Both bathrooms are spacious, with rain showers. The en-suite bathroom also has a bath tub. All decorated in a clean, modern style. Guest access will be through an initial communal door, there is one flight of stairs up to the private entrance to the apartment. As I live overseas for the majority of the time, I have made sure I have left the property in great hands to accommodate your stay. Deborah, the property manager will be on hand to get you checked in and answer any questions you may have. If Deborah is unavailable, my co-host Jennifer lives 50m away and hosts air-bnb's of her own, so will also be on hand to help if needed. Betty's Place is a stone's throw from the popular Atlantic Shores neighborhood. The area is popular with surfers, kite boarders, wing surfers and those looking for a relaxed island vibe close to one of the most popular beaches on the south coast - Miami beach. This community has a great mix of locals, expats and visitors. And whilst the immediate area is a friendly, calm and relaxed it is only minutes away from popular spots that provide something for everyone. The property is 250m from a popular bus route where the typically Bajan route taxis pass by every couple of minutes and run all along the south coast to Bridgetown. The main bus service also runs a regular service on this route. The accomodation is a 3 minute drive (or a 30 minute coastal walk) from the popular town of Oistins, home to the famous Friday night fish fry. Oistins itself offers many amenities including a great fish market offering fresh fish perfect for the bbq, a well stocked supermarket, local bars, food outlets, fruit & vegetable stalls and a gym. The location is a great base to explore all of Barbados, whilst also experiencing relaxed island life. Starting in February 23, there is some residential construction occurring on the plot next door, which may mean mean some noise during standard working hours and the contractors are aware of the need to be mindful of the surrounding residents, The large palm trees bordering the property provide a natural screen to this.
