This 2BR, 1BA light-filled gem is located a short walk or bike ride to beautiful downtown Winter Garden, lovingly called “a charming little city with a juicy past,” with a wide array of award-winning restaurants, shops, and authentic old-Florida charm. In addition to our famous Farmers’ Market, we have the 29-mile West Orange Bike Trail, the Garden Theatre, Lake Apopka, and easy access to all of Orlando’s major attractions, as well as Central Florida’s off-the-beaten-path destinations. The space Our unique, 75-year-old guest house is located behind our 95-year-old historic home, surrounded by tall trees and vibrant greenery. Added to the property in 1947, its large, expansive windows and open layout create a tranquil quality that people say reminds them of a treehouse. Guest access The entire guest house, a separate building with its own entrance, is yours to enjoy. In addition, a shared storage room on the ground floor has a washer and dryer, as well as two bicycles guests can use whenever they like. (PLEASE NOTE: We assume no liability for injury or damage if the bikes are used by you during your stay. A $600 loss fee will be incurred if they are lost or stolen and a $200 damage fee will be charged if they are damaged while borrowed.) Other things to note IMPORTANT: 1) The guest house is located above our detached, 4-car garage and IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY USING THE STAIRS. 2) If you have a significant allergy to cats, this may not be the best guest house for you. A cat has lived in this building in the past and we have several cats on the property. Just something to think about before requesting to book with us. 3) We ask folks not to run the AC below 76 in the months of June, July, and August. Please don't request to book with us if this is an issue.
