Beech Mountain is 25 min from the cabin and Banner Elk NC is 40 min from the cabin.Enjoy the slopes on Beech Mountain with a short 35min drive or Sugar Mountain which is a 45min drive. Watauga Lake is 15 min from the cabin and offers boat, kayak and paddle board rentals at the 3 local Marinas. Boone NC is a 30 min drive and offers all the restaurants and shopping you could want and let’s not forget App State Football if you are a fan! Blowing Rock and Grandfather mountain are both within an hour and guest love to visit these attractions. Wattauga River and plenty of hiking trails and waterfalls are in the area too!
