This Guest Space is the full second floor. Have the second floor to yourself, w/private bathroom, sitting area, and two bedrooms. NOTE: host live on the first floor. The family cat Andy might pay a visit (friendly). You use the front door and go right up the steps to your space. The shared part is you can see our space on the stairs and thus may here us but we are quiet. Walking distance to town! Hang out outside & enjoy chairs and a fire-pit if you wish, or take the 5 min walk downtown. The space We are happy to share our home, built in 1870 in historic Chestertown, with you! If you are here for the College, the water, an event or just a vacation, we are happy to have you and hope you enjoy the town we love!! This Guest Space is the second floor of our home. The hosts do not got upstairs during your stay, but you may see the host as you come and go or hear us as we go about our day, but we are quiet! Your space includes: Two Bedrooms (one Queen, one room- 2 twins). private bathroom with tub and shower Sitting area with TV (mini fridge and Keurig and snacks!) parking spaces by the house-- 4 cars? No problem! Guest-only entrance to take you directly to your private space. On your way up you can see the host's space, and you might hear us, but we are quiet people and never go into your space once you arrive. Included welcome visit by Andy the orange cat (Cat in the house, so please do not book if cats are an issue for you :) Share outdoor space with owners. Zoned HVAC means you can pick the temp that makes you comfortable! Sarah and Andrew are also your local guide to Chestertown and Kent County if you need any information, please ask! Guest access You will have your privacy on the full second floor of the house! Guests use the main front door that has the stairs right there. You can see our space as you go upstairs and may hear us a bit but we are mindful of our guests. This is a traditional second floor but you have the whole space upstairs and the host to do not enter the space. You are also welcome to enjoy the outdoor space by lounging on the chairs, watching the water, or building a fire in the fire pit! Other things to note Again, the home has a friendly cat. Please do not book if you are allergic or have any issues with cats. They will not try to sleep with you but will come upstairs. Andy, the Orange one is our third host and loves to have new guests. One last reminder :) This is the second floor of our home, it is a traditional second floor not an apartment. Sadly, Airbnb does not have an option for this unique space so we do our best to describe it in detail to ensure the proper expectations are met when you arrive.
