A cozy two-bedroom cabin in Monte Rio’s Terraces neighborhood, with forest views overlooking a seasonal creek. Private and surrounded by soaring redwoods, it’s a quick 15-minute walk or under 5-minute drive to downtown Monte Rio, with its grocery store, cafés, and Russian River beaches. In the heart of west Sonoma County, numerous hiking trails and wine-country attractions are nearby. Enjoy a restorative escape in nature, a quick drive to a scenic stretch of California coastal wilderness. The space Both bedrooms boast spectacular views of the surroundings, one with queen, one with full bed. There is also a full size air mattress that you can use in the living room. A covered deck along the front of the house wraps around to a patio area with a large gas grill. Two other decks are just steps away in the yard. Enjoy our bathroom, with a clawfoot tub, and a standalone shower. Outdoor shower, washer and electric dryer are behind the house outside. The kitchen is great for cooks, fully stocked with sharp knives and quality pots and pans (also, a blender, toaster instant pot, burr grinder, and dishwasher). Please note that our home is in a living redwood forest. While we treat the exterior and take measures to keep out critters, it's a reality of nature that they are present on the property, so it may not be a fit for everyone.
