Welcome to our spacious 4‑bedroom, 2.5‑bath retreat on 17 private acres in the tiny mountain town of Elbe, just 15 minutes from the Nisqually/Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier and 5 minutes from beautiful Alder Lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Recently remodeled and designed for big families and group get‑togethers, the home comfortably hosts up to 16 guests with modern comforts, multiple hangout spaces, and wide‑open grounds to relax, explore, and make memories together. The space Escape to a modern, nature‑themed retreat on 17 private acres in the tiny town of Elbe (population 46), just minutes from the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park and only 2 miles from the Polar Express train ride. This freshly remodeled 1,770‑sq‑ft home is set far back from the road and surrounded by trees and mountain views, offering true peace and quiet for large families and groups.Inside, you’ll find an open living area with multiple cozy seating spaces, two couches that can sleep extra guests, colorful ambient lighting, and a fully stocked white kitchen with new appliances, bakeware, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and basic cooking essentials. Upstairs features a master bedroom with a king bed, office desk, and private full bathroom; a second bedroom with a queen bed; and a fun family bedroom with a triple bunk plus trundle, perfect for kids and cousins to pile in together. Downstairs adds another bedroom with a queen bed, a half bath, laundry room, and plenty of room to spread out—altogether the home can comfortably host up to 16 overnight guests when sharing beds and using the sofas. The house is set up for comfort and convenience with charging‑station nightstands, several surge‑protector outlet extenders with USB ports, and fast Starlink internet that works impressively well for such a rural area. Outside, the expansive grounds are ideal for gatherings of up to 25 daytime guests (with prior approval) and include a smokeless firepit, outdoor dining for eight under a large umbrella, propane and charcoal BBQs with utensils, and wide‑open space for kids to run and play. There is essentially unlimited parking for cars, boats, and trailers, with quick access to Alder Lake and the Elbe Hills/Tahoma State Forest for boating, ATV riding, and year‑round adventures.If you’re planning a birthday, mini‑wedding, baby shower, or family reunion, this property is designed for memorable get‑togethers in a peaceful mountain setting—please message us before booking to discuss your event and overnight guest plans. Do you enjoy Fishing? Alder Lake (5 min away) is stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout, kokanee, largemouth bass, yellow perch, black crappie, and bullhead catfish. In Mineral Lake (10 min away) the state plants more than 100,000 rainbow trout fry each year. Several hundred larger broodstock are also stocked annually, plus several thousand brown trout. Horse riding? Your whole family or a large group of friends can enjoy our beautiful mountain trails, Nisqually River or maybe just a Romantic Sunset ride at Ride at EZ Times Outfitters Horseback Riding (5 min away). You probably here to see the Mt. Rainier, but how about waterfalls?? Three waterfalls, multiple viewing areas, and two different trailheads provide great choices for an excursion to Little Mashel Falls. (15 min away). The tallest waterfall plunges over 90 feet. Do you have little kids and elder parents who cant hike the mountain? How about A FREE Recycled Spirits of Iron Sculpture Park (2 min away)? Everyone will enjoy this place. It's fun, funny, artistic, creative, provoking and rated 5 stars by a hundreds of visitors! Oh oh... and my favorite!!! The BEAUTIFUL and Gorgeous scenic road along the Nisqually River on NF-52? (10min away) (Highly Recommend) You can spend a full day driving on it making 10-20 stops along the way to enjoy the river. You can enjoy all that and so many other things from our 4 bedrooms and two and half bathrooms home. If you quite enough you may see deers passing through. They live on this property and you can find their tiny trails while hiking around on our property as it is open to explore. A gas station and multiple places to eat are only 5 min away from us. Elbe Bar and Grill is open late every day. They have wonderful food and a free pool table. Did I mention that we are only 5 min away from Mt. Rainier Railroad Restaurant that offer both breakfast and dinner? It is a historic train turned American restaurant set with bistro tables, a bar car & seasonal beer garden. Other things to note We do have quite a few RVs parked on the property. At some point our plans were to fix them up and rent them out, but for now only 2 of them in a far distance will be accupied by my father and me.
