The middle of Amish country. When sightseeing along the twisting, rolling hills, you'll likely encounter horse & buggies! Extensive gardens and beautiful decks and patio. Hiking trails are close by. Lots of places to sit and read, or just relax and enjoy the birds. It's a little peace of heaven here on earth. The house is 265 years old, but has all modern amenities: stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry, butcher block countertops, hardwood and flagstone floors, flat screen HD and 4K TV's in every room (except the bathroom! ;-{ ), wood burning stove and fireplace, Directv in every room (virtually every channel), outdoor shower, hot tub, greenhouse, high flow shower head, and a new outdoor sauna by summer of 2018! Your room also has private Guest access You're welcome to access your private room and all other indoor and outdoor spaces. Please avoid any other bedrooms. Thanks! During your stay Maureen & I (Greg) live here year round, however guests can enjoy their privacy. We'll also be glad to share as much time as you'll need. We'll pick you up & drop you off at the train station if needed. Other things to note We bought this house off of Troy & hope to run Airbnb as wonderfully as he did! Before the purchase, Maureen and I stayed here and were moved by his warm heart and friendly, happy, welcoming demeanor! We hope & strive to be as good of hosts as he was! After your stay, we would love to get your feedback. We've got big shoes to fill! We've got eight goats who are an integral part of the property. They are extremely friendly and social. The baby goats will leave you smiling as they bounce around like lunatics!!
