Stay in our clean and cozy apartment just up the street from the sparkling Manhattan Beach waters. We adore the clean calming vibe of our pretty beach apartment. It's thoughtfully designed for comfort and finding some peace from the demands of daily life. Wake up for an early morning surf or sleep in and walk down to the stunning beach to enjoy the afternoon sun. Our home is the perfect perch for you to pause and enjoy all Manhattan Beach has to offer. The space The comfy vibes and proximity to the ocean come together to create an experience of serenity and calm. We had so much fun putting together the interior design to honor the beach-y culture of MB but still maintain a stylish and modern feel. Our favorite spot is the little back porch area. It's small but charming and a great way to get some fresh air & sun with a bit of privacy. Bring your laptop out there to get some sun while working or have some outdoor meals. We want staying at our place to feel like coming home after a long day. From the cushy couch to the relaxing interior design, staying in our apartment will have you breathing a sigh of relief. When you decide to step outside however, so many exciting activities await. The apartment is walking distance to the beach which features clean sand and gorgeous sparkling water. You will also be walking distance to a plethora of amazing places to eat drink and be merry! Skip on over to our famous restaurants, shops, art galleries and endless entertainment options; rent e-bikes or surfboards, and learn about marine life at the local aquarium on the pier, picnic at the local park! Tour the town or just take the time to lay out on the beach and relax, either way Manhattan Beach will not disappoint. You can absolutely drive around but additional parking is limited. Amenities: - Queen size bed - Day bed in living room with 2 twin beds - Full kitchen with Oven Range & Refrigerator - Coffee station with Pour over - Smart TV - There is a designated parking spot measuring 8’6” in width and 16’6” in depth for 1 vehicle. (spot parking) Property Notes: -This is a non-smoking property, smoking is prohibited in units and on balconies or decks per the Manhattan Beach smoking ordinance. Additionally, the beach and Strand Boardwalk are non-smoking -We ask that all guests be respectful and courteous to our neighbors. This includes community quiet hours from 10pm-8am daily. Taxes: Airbnb is currently not able to include the 12% TOT tax (increasing to 14% by the city of Manhattan Beach on July 1st 2023) required by the City of Manhattan Beach. As an alternative you will receive an Airbnb resolution request after booking requesting the TOT tax (applicable to both nightly accommodations & cleaning fee). Guests are required to complete this payment. The Manhattan beach TOT 14% tax on our property is included automatically during guest check out, after July 01, 2023. This is a first floor unit. Other things to note Guest must climb 2 flights of stairs. Cleaning services are conducted prior to guest check-in only. Mid-stay cleanings can be scheduled based upon availability for an additional cleaning fee equal to the cleaning fee initially paid. If you would like to schedule a mid-stay cleaning, please let us know in advance. No Smoking or Vaping Policy: Please be advised that for the enjoyment of our community, smoking of any type is strictly prohibited in the unit or anywhere on the premises. We reserve the right to charge a penalty cleaning fee ranging from $250 to $500 (based on the size of the unit) to any individual found smoking. This policy is enforced to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all guests and neighbors. Thank you for your cooperation. Reminder: We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if the property is found to be excessively dirty after check-out. This fee starts at $250 and may increase depending on the time and cleaning supplies required by our cleaners. We recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your stay with us as we are not able to provide refunds outside of our cancellation policies. We are unable to accept early check-in requests including those for last-minute bookings. We will accept your request to book, but the standard check-in time for this unit will apply. We also have a handheld steamer to fulfill your ironing requirements. Community Quiet Hours are in effect daily from 10 PM to 8 AM. All guests are required to comply at all times. The general quiet enjoyment for our neighbors should also be respected outside of these hours. Any complaints received from building management or neighbors regarding noise disturbances may result in booking cancellation. Our cancellation policy will be strictly upheld in such cases. We kindly request that you refrain from sending mail or deliveries to our property, as we neither have a mailbox nor provide access for such items. For packages, please direct them to the nearest post office for collection. For food deliveries, please make sure to meet the delivery person to confirm that you received the order. Please note that we accept no responsibility for any lost or misplaced deliveries.
