Otter Ridge Glamping over water

This safari tent is majestically perched on a huge deck overlooking a gorge with a small river flowing.You are surrounded by raw nature while comfortably snuggled into a little oasis of luxury. It is off-grid with a 12 volt power system and propane appliances. You have your own outdoor shower and outhouse. The town of Westport is 5 minutes away and Perth is 20. Pets are welcome. The space We own the land on both sides of the gorge , about 5 acres (1 1/2 on your side and 3 1/2 on the other) Feel free to wander around and explore but if you see a fence please don’t cross it. Our main road is a long dead-end and is great for a hike. Your space at the tent is your own and as you will see we have done our best to provide as much privacy as possible. The sound of the running water lulling you to sleep is an experience not to be missed! A fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower and upscale outhouse are all yours privately. Coffee is made by using a French press or a stovetop espresso maker. Guest access Feel free to wander around the property and on the road. Please stay off of the neighbours property (if you see a fence, don’t cross it) Other things to note Welcome to Otter Ridge site at Stepstone Falls Here are a few guidelines to make your stay comfortable. When you arrive please park in designated spot. Your parking spot is just over the river on the left, you will see a sign saying Otter Ridge Parking. Use the cart provided to take your gear to the site. Follow the path and leave cart at the top of the stairs The power system is driven off of a 12 volt lithium ion battery pack under the kitchen counter. The switches are above the garbage container on the right. In order to run the water faucet or the shower you need to turn on the Water System switch. You can leave this switch on as the pump will automatically shut off when you are finished using the water. There is also a switch for Household Power which turns on an inverter plug right beside the switch panel. This is the only household power on-site. There are a couple of USB charging ports on the switch panel for mobile devices. The rest of the switches are for different lights. Please turn off the lights when you go to bed in order to conserve battery power. All appliances including the stove/oven, bbq, fridge, hot water heater( for shower) run off propane. You will need to light the stove using the provided bbq lighter. The bbq ignites by tuning the dials until you hear clicking. The fridge and the hot water heater are automatic. In the event that a strong wind blows out the pilot light on the fridge, (evident by the fridge not cooling anymore) simply depress the button with the hand logo on it at the same time as you depress the button with the lightning bolt on it. Hold both down until the little indicator dial goes into the green and then release. Voila! Please keep fires in the fire pit at a manageable level and always attended. Only use fire extinguishers in an emergency, not to put out a fire in the fire pit! Please stay on the paths. The water in the kitchen sink and shower are from the river and shouldn’t be drunk. The big blue jug is deep well drinking water! Please put away food at night as there are many critters around! Although your space is private and completely yours, there may be other guests on property during your stay. We’re usually pretty easy to reach.
