Let the fun begin! Come and Enjoy the abundant wildlife of the Chetco River on 5 secluded acres in a spacious home with a coastal country feel. Private swimming, kayaking & fishing areas with lots of space to walk around and enjoy nature.  An abundance of wildlife: Deer, White egrets, blue herons, Osprey's and nests, a seal family too! Enjoy the relaxing river Take a morning paddle on the provided kayaks or stroll on foot at low tide at the foot of the Chetco shallow’s. So many Outdoor adventures await! We absolutely enjoy this home and all it has to offer.  Lots of private space around the property to enjoy the scenery and wildlife in all directions. Don't be surprised to see the neighboring sheep and horses come over to visit during the early mornings at lowtide. In the warm summer days, swim the Chetco River water. Experience the river tide slowly changes twice a day. Provided Kayaking from your own private beaches, and fishing at its best! For you Fishing Enthusiasts, the Chetco River is sought after for its trophy size Fish: Fall Chinook Salmon, Winter Steelhead and add to this, the sea run Cutthroat Trout! Great fishing hole in front of the house!  Be the first to snag them on the way up river.  In the evening get the fire pit going down on the river's edge and enjoy sitting around the crackle of fire and enjoy s'mores, smiles and memories. If you really feel froggy, take the kayaks out for an evening stroll in front of the house under the moonlight. The water flow is very calm, almost still when the tide is up. perfect for paddling SUP/kayaks around. (In the Spring/ Summer months). In the Fall/Winter, there are Not Kayaks available, for the river flow is more aggressive. The fun truly does not stop and you do not have to leave the property to enjoy your vacation. If you are a lover of the water and want a fun memory that will last a lifetime. Cruise the kayaks from the house to the Harbor for sea food or pizza at Zola's on the Water (local favorite). Ice cream and treats at slugs n Stones, is also a must!! It's a great adventure that takes 30 min to stroll down the river (depending on how you paddle) and how long you want to hang at the Harbor.   But, if you feel the need to explore the area it's only a few minutes drive to our many Ocean beaches, harbor, hiking, golfing, jet boat rides or visiting the Redwoods. Please reach out to us via Text, Email, or Phone Love, Bryon and Rachel This is a Native Haven, tucked in a cove that seems to stay warm and protected in all seasons. There are 2 ways down to the river from the house. 1 down the steps off the back deck to pathway. 2nd way is a little longer but less steep, starts just past the Barn.
