Nestled in the Tuscan hills, Villa Fontelinda is an elegant four-bedroom (5 baths) 100 year old stone villa with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the beautiful countryside. It’s the perfect retreat for a luxurious, relaxing holiday with friends and family—as well as the ideal base for day trips and your adventures in Tuscany. Villa Fontelinda is just 15 kms from Saturnia thermal baths and 18 hole golf course, and 30 kms from the beautiful seaside resorts of Monte Argentario. The space Villa Fontelinda is newly renovated and offers a 12000 square meter olive three garden. The Villa consists of three floors for a total of 340 mq. The first floor features a large living room, a powder room, and a spacious kitchen, with a table that seats twelve comfortably. From the kitchen and the living area, glass doors lead onto a 50 sq m covered veranda furnished with hammocks, lounge chairs, and a large dining table, with views over the Tuscan countryside. The veranda which opens over the garden with roses, olive trees and cypress trees, leads down to the private infinity pool with panoramic views of Tuscany’s beautiful Argentario Coast on the Mediterranean Sea. Through the garden, guests access the private pool, surrounded by cotto tile sun terrace and incredible views over the surrounding countryside. The pool area is equipped with sun-beds, table, lounge chairs and parasols. We provide Pool towels for all our guests. The second floor of the villa offers an ample living area with comfortable rustic seating and a large table, as well as two master bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi tub and the other with a large modern shower. The third floor has two bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, as well as a large common area with inviting couches and a work area with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills. The modern Cor-ten steel staircase cuts through the villa’s floors, offering an uninterrupted vertical view of the structure. The second floor can also be accessed directly from the villa’s front door and its driveway. The Villa is full of modern architectural accents. Floor- to-ceiling windows flood the space with sunlight and offer the spectacular views that Tuscany is famous for. The furnishings are a blend of rustic and modern, ensuring comfort and functionality. The entire property was designed and built respecting the most modern environmental sustainability standards guaranteeing energy conservation, including recovery of rainwater, floor heating, solar panels and APE A++ window and door casings. The Villa is well insulated, keeping cool in the warm summers. Though no A/C is necessary, the house is equipped with fans for those who enjoy the extra air flow. The villa offers private outdoor parking, with its entrance at street level. A covered private garage is available on the lower level. The property is accessed through an electric gate and has video doorbells on two floors. Guest access Our guests' will enjoy the full property to themselves: the 3-story Villa of 340 square meters, the infinity pool and the 2000 square meter gardens. Other things to note Because of its energy efficiency, the villa does not need A/C. There are however fans for those who wish for the extra cool air flow. Due to the internal architecture, especially the way the stairs are built, the house is not fit for little children.
