Tucked back from the street, and close to EVERYTHING Arcata has to offer, this one-bedroom craftsman apartment is ready to be your home-away-from-home. The back-half of our craftsman bungalow was converted into a second unit sometime in the late 1970’s. Fans of that era will appreciate the vintage touches, like the kitchen and shower yet also have the modern comforts of new furnishings and comfortable memory foam mattress. Need more space? The queen-sized sofa bed can open up to sleep two more. This one bedroom craftsman apartment is a charming retreat. A mix of old and new, this apartment has both vintage flair and modern comforts. The place is fully stocked and comes with a beautiful shared yard space that includes a propane fire pit. The unit shares a wall with the adjoining apartment, so from time-to-time you may hear noise from the neighbors or from other guests in the yard. We ask that if it's ever too disturbing to please reach out to host and we will talk to other guest. Guests have full access to the unit, propane fire pit and the other shared yard space. There is also a coin-op laundry on site that accepts quarters($1.00 to wash and $1.50 to dry) sorry, no change machine on site. For the courtesy of other guests and neighbors, quiet hours are between 9PM and 8AM. Please also make sure that all laundry is completed before 9PM. Use the alley for loading and unloading only. Parked cars will be ticketed and towed.
