Gunn Point Cottage - Eagle Lake

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish cottage and create memories that last a life time. Well appointed and recently renovated cottage on beautiful Eagle Lake (near South River 2.5 hrs north of TO). 3 Bedroom 1 bath with additional waterfront Bunkie. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Enjoy beautiful sunrises on the lakeside dock and witness breathtaking sunsets from the bayside dock in front of the Boathouse. Enjoy a campfire with your family in a peaceful wooded setting to end a perfect day. Guest access Included with your rental is a Boat House which has been converted to an extra sleeping cabin. The Boat House has a double bed, its own private dock (facing West) along with a small fridge, dining table and chairs. The cottage has a private dock on the lake side (facing east) that can accommodate a boat. The entry to the lake is shallow gradually sloping with a hard packed sand bottom. Other things to note Eagle Lake is spring fed with the deepest part of the lake being just 65 feet. The lake provides good boating and kayaking opportunities. The fishing is fantastic and has an abundance of small mouth bass and northern pike. The occasional walleye (pickerel) has been known to be caught as well. Shopping for essentials can be done in either South River or Sundridge which are both about 20 minutes away.
