Take it easy at this comfortable getaway located halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The beach-themed room matches the lush gardens and magnesium pool outside — a great spot to relax after a day of exploring or work. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop is a 4-minute stroll from home. Our home is warm, welcoming and creative — you may spot fun craft or 3D-printing projects around. Suits non smokers. The space Diana and Tania are your hosts and the creative team behind the unique murals and artistic touches throughout the house. This colorful, flat-level home also hosts other guests, so you may share the space with fellow travelers during your stay. The outdoor pool area features a sparkling magnesium pool with a timber deck — perfect for relaxing, reading or cooling off. There’s also a separate undercover entertainment space if you prefer shade or a quiet place to unwind. We’re close to beautiful bushwalking tracks and close to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre, which is free to visit and always worth the trip. Shops, cafés and restaurants are nearby, making it easy to settle in and explore the area. We also run two creative businesses from home, so you’ll likely see a little maker magic around the place — glitter trails, resin pieces drying, 3D-printed creations and the occasional project in motion. We keep things tidy, but this is a working maker house, not a minimalist retreat. If you’re curious, feel free to ask what we’re creating — or even join in. Please note: there is no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Suits non smokers. Guest access If you have a car we will allocate you a parking space as the neighbors don't like cars to be parked in front of their houses. Guests will be provided with a code to access the front door and given a key to their room. We both work from home so there will generally be someone home to help you if needed. During your stay We are always happy and enjoy to interact with guests Other things to note We have two very friendly house cats who love meeting new people and exploring the home. They’re allowed in all shared indoor areas, so you may see them wandering around or coming by for a pat. Please keep your bedroom door closed so they don’t sneak inside — they’re curious and very good at pretending they’ve been invited. The cats must stay indoors and on the property due to council regulations. Please help us by keeping external doors closed and not letting them into the pool area or outside. As we run two creative businesses from home, you may spot the fun side of our work — craft projects, 3D prints in progress, or resin pieces drying.
