The Alte Melkhaus is located on the Schwansen peninsula, just outside of Kleinwaabs overlooking fields that slope slightly towards the Baltic Sea. We have two lovingly furnished apartments – partly with the great view of the Eckernförder Bay – and a large, beautifully landscaped property that also has a lot to offer for children. These two separate, adjacent apartments are ideal for families of friends or holidays with several generations. The space The space The family-friendly apartments Muschelsucher and Strandgut are next to each other and each offer a cozy living-kitchen area and bathroom with bathtub on the ground floor. In the living area there is a comfortable sofa bed, satellite TV and a fireplace. In the kitchen area, there is a very well-equipped kitchenette with electric stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and CD/radio and the dining table. A wooden staircase leads to the second floor, which offers enough space for eight to nine people with a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds and a children's bed (70 x 140 cm - in the Muschelsucher apartment). Here, the original charm of the granary is still noticeable through the original wooden floor, the open beams and a reduced ceiling height. The stairs are secured at the top with a stair guard and on request we can provide a travel bed and high chairs. The built-in terrace of the Muschelsucher apartment faces south towards the courtyard, the terrace of the Strandgut apartment offers an unobstructed view to the east over the fields to the Baltic Sea. Here the children's play equipment is right on the meadow in front of the door and both terraces are equipped with garden furniture and parasols. Guest access The apartments each have their own entrance. The separate utility room with washing machine and dryer (extra charge) is available to all guests. Other things to note - In one of the barns, our small and large guests have various play equipment available such as table tennis, a children's kitchen, Viking chess, speedminton, bobby cars and other vehicles… so that there is no boredom, even if there is no bathing weather. - On the large outdoor area there are swings, a sandbox, three small wooden horses and a large trampoline - We also have a small fleet of bicycles that can be borrowed free of charge subject to availability.
