La maison noire is walking distance to the main street of Maleny with its famous coffee shops and art galleries. You can spot platypus in the Obi obi creek in front of the studio. On your way to town you can enjoy the beautiful green corridors and the rainforest broadwalk along the Obi obi creek past the showground. From Maleny you can access a few Forests and National Parks like Mary Cairncross Reserve, Kondalilla Falls and Conondale National Park. The space La maison noire is a newly renovated self contained studio underneath the main house, with a kitchenette, a bathroom, sitting area and bedroom corner, Wifi and Netflix are available. WiFi will be off between 10pm and 5am. Our family has 2 primary age children therefore you can expect the sound of an active family coming through from time to time. The kitchenette has a mobile induction plate, microwave, sink, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, tea, and coffee plunger. The bathroom has a spacious shower with rainfall showerhead, a toilet and basin.  In the bedroom corner you will find a queen bed with an Emma mattress and pillows voted product of the year in 2023 and CHOICE #1 Top scoring mattress in 2021 and 2022.  The sitting area has a 2 seater couch and the smart TV has Netflix. The studio has air-conditioning for heating or cooling and a fan. You can park right in front of the studio. Outside is a little grassy corner with a bench to sit on and catch the morning sun while sipping your cup of coffee. La maison noire is located in the township of Maleny, a short 10 min walk from the first coffee shop, you can spot platypus in the Obi Obi creek on your way to town. Iron, beddings and towels are provided for 2 persons. Other things to note Important detail, there is no mobile reception up in Maleny unless you are with Telstra or Telstra network. WiFi will be turned off every night 10:30pm till 5am. No smoking inside please.
