Welcome to “Lake Time Retreat.” Looking for a place to relax Lake Ouachita is beyond perfect! Our 1964 recently updated lake home sits on two acres in the heart of Mount Ida, Arkansas. Mount Ida is home to the Ouachita National Forest and Lake Ouachita, Arkansas largest lake. The 40,000 acres of crystal-clear water will in enchant you! Mount Ida is also proclaimed to be the “Quartz Crystal Capital of the World.” How can you not love a trip to one of the cleanest lakes in the U.S. This lake time retreat offers a cozy 1900 sq ft cozy of living space with three bedrooms, two full baths with spacious kitchen and dining area. A Separate living room is adjacent to the kitchen. It has a primary room with a king size bed an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower and one sink vanity. The first guest room has a queen size bed. Stored in the closet are two rollaway cots for children or small adults. A pack and play and portable highchair are also available for use. The second quest room has a queen size bed and for additional sleeping accommodations there is one twin size futon. All bedrooms have large closets, dressers and dirty clothes hampers for the guest use. Bed linens and pillows and are provided for all beds except the pack and play. We have two mattress covers for it, but we figure the little ones probably have a favorite blanket! The second bath has a walk in shower and separate bathtub, one sink with vanity area. The bathrooms are stocked with white bath linens, towel racks, bath soap, hairdryers, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped with Stainless steel dishwasher, electric range, microwave, a full size refrigerator and garbage disposal. We love cooking in this Kitchen, with the custom built cabinets and granite counter tops. The cabinets are stocked with everyday dinnerware, coffee mugs, drinking glasses, wine glasses, utensils, sheet pans, bakeware and cookware. Small appliances consist of a Keurig coffee maker, margarita blender, toaster, hand mixer and crock pot for make ahead meals while you are at the lake. Off the kitchen is a game table for four or it can be used as an additional dining table. There is also a club chair and ottoman to relax, read a book or kick back while dinner is cooking. The dining area will seat six people and there are four barstools that surrounds an eating bar off the kitchen. The living room has a sectional couch, recliner and wall mounted smart TV for TV streaming your favorite channels; Wi-Fi is available. There is a VCR/DVD player and many movies to watch. There is also a desk with a charging station in the living area. The laundry / mudroom is off the kitchen and it has a exterior door to the covered carport. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. A patio door goes out to the fenced backyard where you will find a picnic table for outdoor eating and a sitting area. There is a charcoal BBQ for outdoor cooking with a few BBQ utensils. Plenty of room to bring your favorite camp chairs. Relax and enjoy!!We highly recommend on a clear night to take the time to look up at the stars. They are absolutely amazing! This is a whole home rental with fenced back yard. Sorry, No pets allowed at this time. No access to outside storage building or outside storage closet under the carport. These are owner storage areas. There is a Private driveway with plenty of parking. Owner has a white car parked under the carport, which is for owner use only. Please make note of the parking area photo for ATV trailers or boat trailers. The drive coming up to the house can be tricky with a trailer, but not impossible to do. Mount Ida is located in a dry county ( Montgomery County), so you will need to bring adult beverages with you or take a 20 mile drive through the rolling hills to Garland County. Mount Ida can have boil water warnings. Please bring bottle water for drinking.
