Charming Period Cottage - Worth my Travels!

Post Office Cottage is a lovely Purbeck stone Grade 2 listed cottage set in the centre of Worth Matravers. Three bedrooms, lounge, dining area, big TV, kitchen and bathroom, a character cottage with free superfast WiFi. The space Low ceilings, beams, inglenook fireplaces - characterful 18th century cottage with a cosy lounge / dining room on a split-level ground floor. Bedrooms are very comfortable, lovely new mattresses, with modern shower and kitchen. Guest access You'll have the whole cottage: up to 3 bedrooms, lounge & dining area. HD TV with freesat and fast wifi. Access is through the small porch at the end of the cottage opposite the pond. Other things to note The main double room has its own stairway. Access to the extra double room is through the corner of the twin room, so guests in those rooms (if you bring 6) would need to be family or close friends! Generally we host very comfortably up to four adults. Six guests can be a little cramped unless some are children. The loo is on the ground floor. Just please be aware that the stairs in the cottage are quite steep, but are only a few steps up - not a big long staircase. We think the the different levels add character to the cottage, but it's not suitable for disabled access, and watch the beams if you're tall. We've lived in the adjacent building since 2011, offering bed & breakfast for ten years, but in 2022 we fitted a modern kitchen for self-catering. Please note that since mid-January 2024 we no longer have a logburner in the fireplace. Apparently they emit more pollution than an articulated lorry, and can harm your health indoors as well as out. We think you'll like the new lounge layout, and there's a log fire app on the TV - seriously, it makes it feel really cosy!
