The Half Note Bedroom at HUM District Music

Welcome to our cozy lower-level room in our vibrant family home in Columbia Heights, just over 2 blocks from the metro! 🚇 Perfect for couples and solo adventurers. ✅ Private Room with a locking keypad 👶 Expect kids' footsteps and chatter above 🚻 Shared Bathroom with another guest room ☕ Common Area: Enjoy granola bars, tea, and coffee! 🎒 Secure Bag Drop Area for your belongings Our home thrives on creativity and connection- we’re excited to share our lively space with you!! 🌼✨ The space The Half Note private bedroom has a very comfortable Queen size bed, closet, dresser and key-padded door for privacy. The basement entryways and each room has keypad locks for security, keyless entry, and privacy. Guests have access to a full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, snacks, coffee maker, and sitting area- all shared with The Quarter Note Bedroom guests (our other airbnb private bedroom). Both bedrooms also share the lower level with HUM District Music, where there are singing lesson weekdays from 3 pm-7:30 pm during the school year. The Host's family lives in the main area of the house above. So there may be some noise and footsteps above from toddlers and adults. The space is located in the basement and the entrance has a few stairs. Our cats, Winnie and Chester, live in our main living area and are not allowed in the Airbnb bedrooms or HUM District Music areas (however, they sometimes sneak into to the lower level just out of curiosity). If you would like to meet them, they are very friendly and soft (and Winnie actually likes to be held!). Street parking is available, but can be hard to find and please read the street signs carefully.
