My home is centrally located, right across from Sundhöll, one of Reykjavik's swimming and sauna halls. The apartment is just a 5-minute walk from the famous Hallgrímskirkja church, public transport at Hlemmur Square, and the main commercial artery of downtown Reykjavik, Laugavegur. Here, you can find the best restaurants, nightlife, and events. Both the University of Iceland and the Icelandic Academy of Art are within a 20-minute walk. It is ideal for couples, business travelers, or academics. The space The apartment features two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed (160x200 cm) and a smaller room with a couch that can be converted into a double bed (140x200 cm). The living room includes a corner sofa (90x200 cm) that can be used as a bed in case of emergency. Clean sheets will be provided on the beds upon your arrival. When you leave, there's no need to remove the bed linen; simply leave the beds as you found them. Towels are available in the white corner wardrobe in the larger bedroom. The hairdryer can be found in one of the bathroom drawers. The stove in the kitchen requires special handling. It has touch buttons. You need to use a dish towel or cloth to press the buttons so the burners will turn on. There is a laundry room in the basement equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. The dryer is positioned on top of the washing machine. You are welcome to use them at your convenience. Guest access When you arrive, either I or a family member will be there to welcome you, show you around, and give you the keys. There are two doors to the house. Please use only the main door, which faces Bergþórugata. Please leave the keys on the kitchen table when you depart. Other things to note This is my home, so feel free to use basic items like my spices and some oil if you decide to cook.
